Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi To Akaschic Records Episode 1 Review: Magical Fail

The premise of this anime is about this girl, Sistina, who attends this Magical School show she cab become stronger but her favorite Teacher retires and his replacement, Glen, is a slacker. Long story short this is going to be another harem, magical school anime that is ass. I was expecting this anime to be at least funny but its not even that. The school board picked the most average Joe off the street and told him to "suit up". There is a reason behind it but the explanation so far is "I want him to live a full life" by another Teacher who he was fucking at some point. He also had his Teacher;s licence at some point but doesn't have it any more.


This episode was boring. Nothing happened. Not plot progression, the characters are ass except for Glen but the only moment he had was also the only funny moment in the anime, where he barges into the girls locker room. He holds them off from beating his ass just to say that he will burn this image into his memory after giving a short speech about how cliche the moment is but also how it shouldn't be taken so seriously. That part had me dying but it was the only good part.

But before that, Sistina sexually harasses Rumia. Is this how she calms down? That moment was so weird. After finishing the episode I would rather have a full on sex scene with those two than everything that happened after. This anime could be on to something but right now its grasping straws.
