Top 10 Songs: Month of January 2017

NCT 127 - Heartbreaker
This is my favorite track from their 2nd EP "Limitless". The chorus comes in hot and that beat is catchy. I feel in love with it on the first listen. The rapping and singing were on point as well. Just a great track to listen to when I'm chilling or want to be in my Tom from the Boondocks mode.

Ailee - Home
When the track was first released I didn't pay much attention to it because other albums were coming out and I didn't like it at first. Now I'm head over heels for it. I can not but this track down because of the amazing beat, Ailee's singing and her vibe, plus a great verse from Yoon Mi Rae. I should be beating my own ass for not loving this track upon release. Ailee is killing me with this track.

Big Bang - Fxxk It
After finally listening to the song I fell in love with it in the first minute. Its so Big Bang with its catchy chorus, joyous singing and rapping and the music video just makes everything so damn better. This track just feels good in side my ears to the point that I never want to listen to anything else but this song. They definite;y killed the game with this song.

Mixx - Love Suddenly
Mixx'x first track "Oh Ma Mind" was cool but with the addition of two new members and not gaining enough attention the first time, I thought they would go for a cute/innocent look. The track is innocent but not April innocent. Its a cool track about falling in love suddenly but the beat is were its at. It compliments the girl's singing while giving them their own flavor. The song is just good. I hope they continue with this color and gain even more attention.

Suzy - Pretend
I', surprised Suzy went with a more laid back track and not a full on ballad or catchy pop song for her pre-release. Nonetheless this track is great. I lover her sultry voice and the chorus with the double time is melting my heart. The beat is jazzy, reminding me of a Primary song. There is nothing much to say here besides its a great track. I can't wait for the album.

CLC - Liar
Liar feels like a CLC song but it has some innovations in the beat. It has some EDM like breakdowns during the chorus that I enjoy. The lyrics are are pretty good as the song is about a breakup that they never saw coming. The singing from everyone here is great and Yeun's rapping was on point. Its honestly a solid song and should have been released as a double single with Hobgoblin.

Seohyun - Bad Love
The grey vibes I get from Bad Love and the horn on the chorus are hitting my soul so sensually. I love this track, probably my favorite on the album. The composition and the way she sings is just so damn good. I can't find anything negative to say about this track.

Jessi - Don't Make Me Cry
Masterpiece

Throwback Tracks

Vince Staples - Summertime
Vince knows how to make the dark yet lovable songs I love, this is my favorite yet. Instead of his charismatic rapping, Vince decides to croon over a melodic beat about losing love because he doesn't trust his feelings and he doesn't know his place in this world. The beat is addictive and abstract while the lyrics hit home on a number of bars. One of the best and most addictive tracks he's ever created.

B-Free - Yoga Flame
I haven't listened to Yoga Flame in a minute but I got the urge to and just couldn't put it down. The beat goes hard while you have B-Free and Okasian rapping melancholy about random stuff like drugs and food but its just good enough not to be appalled at what their saying. Its a chill track I always find myself listening to while I play video games. One of my favorite tracks between the two.
