Game Of Thrones: Season 6, Episode 2

Game of Thrones Season 6 episode 2: review

Man it has barely been a few days since the episode aired and you guys already think Hodor is the Lord of the Light’s main enemy or something like that. You guys need to calm down with the theories. I digress though GEEZ!! What an amazing episode though, this season has been pretty damn hype so far. So much went on this week but I will only hit on a few points this week.
First let us start with Hodor. HE TALKED! He was a stable boy and his name was revealed to be “Wyllis” (although in the books his name was Walder). I really don’t know what to make of this flashback. When did Hodor lose his ability to speak? Why? What is the point of showing Bran these visions?? I am sure we will know soon at the pace this season is progressing.
This week’s GoT also gave us not one, BUT TWO. Heads being crushed one by Cesei’s new right hand man, the hound 2.0 and the giant wilding.  One of my favorite moments this week was Jaime talking the high crow. That was absolutely amazing, felt like the Jaime of old.  Jaime is slowly getting his fire back and it is amazing to see it happening.  The crows have gotten very out of hand of late but this is all Cersei’s fault soooo.
Now for the main course Tyrion. Tyrion being a Targaryen has been a pretty strongly believed theory and this week’s episode gave a lot of gas to the hype train. I personally do think Tyrian is a Targaryen and the way he was able to interact with the dragons just gave me that much more confidence. Let’s break down why Tyrion is probably a Targaryen: First the Mad King Aerys lusted after Tyrion’s mother Joanna. It is hinted at in the books a couple times including Aerys making the comments that “it was a great pity that the lord’s right to the first night had been abolished” at Tywin’s and Joanna’s wedding reception (!!!!).  Next which I feel is really just GRRM throwing hints our way is that Tyrion’s mother died during childbirth, which is an unfortunate circumstance that he shares with 2 other main characters, Dany and Jon Snow. Of course Dany is a dragon but Jon snow is also believed to be a Targaryen as well so this could get very interesting. Lastly Tywin REALLY hates Tyrion which makes a little more sense if he is the bastard child of the Mad King who raped his wife AND then she died while giving birth to the child who was a dwarf…. man GRRM has a sick mind.  This is will be a very telling season for Tyrion.
Ummmm let me think what else happened this week. Ramsey is a nut, poor Arya, things are finally looking up a bit for Sansa so that’s nice OHHHH AND JON SNOW IS BACK FROM THE DEAD. Honestly I am just so happy for Melisandre she is a top 5 favorite of mine and she deserved this! She silenced all the haters.  I cannot wait to see the look on all their faces when they see.  Mad props to the Onion Knight for the best pep talk ever. What is next for the newly revived Lord Commander? Lord Ramsey is coming in hot setting up the match of the century in what has been dubbed the Bastard Bowl, which is just hilarious.
This season is progressing very rapidly so far and if the first 2 episodes are any idea then this season is going to be a crazy ride. Stay Tuned.
Oh and PS Euron is here now, the Irons Islands are about to turn TF up. He already threw one person off that bridge.
