Throw It Back: BEAST (B2ST)

B2ST was the first male K Pop group that I got into. They also became my favorite male group. Its 2015 and as I listen to their new Korean and Japanese music, I still remember the times I had listening to their earlier work. So this week I'm talking about my favorite B2ST songs of the past.

Fiction: This was the first song I ever heard. The sound of writing in the beginning to the beat playing is what got mew into the song. From their the singing starts and a picture is painted from nothing but sound. No doubt one of their best songs and one of my favorites.

Beautiful Night: I became a B2ST fan in 2011 so in 2012 I was excited to hear B2ST would be coming back with new music. This was before I was hip to anything. I was just listening to music. Nonetheless Beautiful Night is a great party song and for that entire year I played that all day. I couldn't stop myself from dancing to it.

Shock: The second B2ST song. This bring back memories of listening to this on the ride homw from school my Freshman year of High School. Now I'm a Freshman in College and I still bump this. Its such a cool song to dance to and I used to know Jun Hyungs rap by heart but I've gotten older. Woe is me.

Virus: Because I loved Fiction so much, their first full length album Fiction and Fact was the first album I listened to. This album houses some of the best and my favorite B2ST songs. Virus is one of them. Everytime I hear it I break down into my R&B stance and give my all to this song.

Let It Snow: Before I listened to Fiction and Fact. I was listening to their songs on YouTube. After listening to Fiction I saw this in the thumbnail and gave it a try. Best decision ever. It just so happened to be close to winter as well. There's not much for me to say. Just listen to it yourself. The pair of Hyunseung and Kikwang is amazing.

Lightless/Unplugged Version: Lightless was such a great song from their mini album, "Lights Go On Again" but the unplugged version on Fiction and Fact wa so amazing. It was slowed down to a ballad and the vocals were so much more amazing. Yoseob's high notes not only made me want to sing but I have to song all of his hig notes from now on. It sounds weird but I have to do it.

So this was a little throw back to some great B2ST songs. If you're a B2ST fan I know you're probably about to binge listen to their music. If you're not a fan, head over to Spotify and listen to all their music. This is no doubt on eof the best k Pop Groups today. Enjoy the rest of your Thursday with some greatness.
