BEAST - Ordinary Album Review

Last year B2ST graced us with two albums Good Luck and Time. Time was the better one of the two. This year B2ST is back again with their 8th Mini Album Ordinary. Now at first I was skeptical about the album because B2ST gave us two albums last year and have been releasing Japanese singles all year. On top of that members Dongwoon and Hyeunseung released solo albums. I didn't think the new Korean album would be good but I was wrong.

The pre-release song "I Gotta Go To Work" is good. This song is about having fun with your partner but having to go to dreadful work leaving them behind. Some of us can really relate to this song. I know I hated leaving to do anything. Now I need a job. The title song Yey is really good. Its a great party song for the summer. Not much else other than partying and girls but still a good song.

The rest of the album is good as well. B2ST continues to deliver a great mix of pop and R&B. They continue to be original and put their signature touch on everything. Despite the praise I'm giving B2ST, on a 5 point rating scale, I give the album a 3/5. The album is good no doubt but its pretty much something they decided to give us. The songs are good but most of them can compete with their latest Japanese singles. It also doesn't top their last two albums Time and Good Luck. Time is their second best album and this album will not top it. It doesn't even top Good Luck.

The album is good and I will definitely listen to it more but it falls short. Yey and I Gotta Go To Work are going on replay though. B2ST are great artists and they will continue to make good music. Like I said, Ordinary is good but that's it. I still recommend it to new listeners all though.
